SUMMARY:Damariscove Island from Ocean Point Launch
DESCRIPTION:A 12 mile paddle with open ocean conditions\, you must have an 
 ocean kayak with double bulkheads\, spray skirt and rescue skills. Water t
 emps are about 60°F\, some protection would probably be a good idea altho
 ugh hydroskin would do depending on conditions at the time. There is very 
 limited parking just up the street from the launch which is a small concre
 te ramp on a pebble beach\, there is also some limited parking along Shore
  Road overlooking the Ocean Point Beach launch.\nMeet at 9am\, BIB at 10am
 .\nWe'll paddle S past Green Island to Ram/Fisherman Island and along the 
 E side of Damariscove Island depending on wind conditions. Continue to the
  S tip and into the cove and land at the end of it where there is a small 
 unmanned Museum (not open as far as I know) for a lunch break on a small b
 each. There are some trails leading to great views on the island. The S ti
 p of Damariscove can be kind of rough\,especially at the ledge known as "T
 he Motions". There can be large swells in the area as well.\nhttps://bbrlt

 hbay\, Low tide is 12:30pm.
