 astery. Advanced Sea Kayak Surfing is designed for experienced paddlers re
 ady to push their limits in dynamic\, high-energy conditions. This course 
 focuses on precision\, control\, and decision-making in steep\, fast-movin
 g surf.\nMove beyond basic wave riding and develop the skills to confident
 ly operate in complex surf environments—linking rides\, carving across w
 ave faces\, and maintaining control in critical sections.\nThroughout the 
 course\, you will:\n\nAnalyze advanced surf conditions\, including wave sh
 ape\, period\, and break patterns\nExecute efficient punch-throughs in hea
 vy surf and controlled re-entries\nRefine edge control\, bracing\, and dyn
 amic body positioning for carving and trimming on waves\nLink rides and pe
 rform directional changes across the wave face\nDevelop tactical awareness
  in crowded or chaotic surf zones\nPractice advanced self- and assisted re
 scues in breaking waves\n\nInstruction emphasizes real-time coaching in th
 e surf\, with targeted feedback to elevate technique and efficiency under 
 pressure.\nThis course is ideal for paddlers with strong foundational skil
 ls who are ready to challenge themselves in more demanding ocean condition
 s and take their surf performance to the next level.\nPrerequisites: Solid
  sea kayaking skills\, including confident edging\, bracing\, and rolling 
 in open water\; prior experience in moderate surf recommended.\nGear Requi
 rements: Sea kayak optimized for surf (helmet required)\, PFD\, spray skir
 t\, paddle\, and appropriate thermal protection (wetsuit or drysuit).\nIf 
 surf conditions are not suitable\, the session will transition to advanced
  rock gardening\, focusing on precise boat handling\, timing\, and route s
 election in technical coastal terrain.\nThis course is typically $100 per 
 day. SMSKN is subsidizing 30% and Rock Paddle Surf is offering 10%. Partic
