SUMMARY:Peer-to-Peer Skills Series: Towing
DESCRIPTION:These sessions are going to be coordinated by various folks fro
 m the Skill Building Team at SMSKN. This session\, co-hosted by Glen Gordo
 n and Cath Kimball\, and will focus on towing: short tow's\, long tows\, c
 ontact tows. Whether or not you've towed someone in the past\, this will b
 e a good time to practice using your kit!\nParticipants are encouraged to 
 share their own knowledge and experience with other paddlers so that we al
 l learn from and support each another.\nThis session will meet at Lookout 
 Point in Harpswell.\nYou'll need a kayak\, spray skirt\, PFD\, immersion c
 lothing appropriate for water temperatures. If you have a short tow and/or
  long tow\, please bring it. If you do not\, that is okay\, we will share 
 the available equipment.\nPlease check weather and tide conditions before 
 arriving so that you can prepare appropriately.\nPlease try to arrive by 3
 :00 and be ready to launch by 3:30pm. We will preview some techniques on l
 and before launching.
