New to winter paddling? Have winter gear but haven’t used it much lately? Want to see winter birds? Join SMSKN friends for a sheltered paddle on Middle Bay. We’ll meet at Lookout Point in Harpswell at 10 AM and head across to the north end of Birch and work our way south, maybe getting as far as the Goslings. Wind should be around 10 kts from the WNW, so we’ll spend our time in the lee of the islands. Air temps in the 40’s, water about the same. Flooding tide (high at 3:25). You must have full winter gear for this paddle. Please contact me if you need to borrow something. Off the water by 1 PM.
