Paddle, then hike, then eat. We’ll start at Lookout Point, paddle a circuit around Middle Bay, then stop at the Norton Preserve on Birch Island to hike the short trail there (1 hour or less). Return to Lookout Point to have lunch at Morse’s Food Truck—fried seafood, sandwiches, burgers, and a surprisingly good salad. Actual paddle route may change depending on attendees. Bring a folding chair as seating at Morse’s fills quickly. Should be hot, so bring sunscreen, clothes to cover up, and plenty of water. May also wish a change of shoes for the hike, though the route is quite easy.
