Looking to see interest for a SMSKN paddle October 10th to 12th [Columbus/Indigenous People’s Day weekend.
Come for all or part!
Weather contigent, one day paddle out to Brother’s Island, another day paddle around Ironbound to explore its unique cliffs and caves. Third day ?
required: sea kayaks with sealed bulkheads, wear PDFs and helmets near rocks, whistles, drysuit or equivalent as waters will be low 50s [we dress for immersion]. snacks and water for drinking.
Suggeted: spare paddle, tow belt, neoprene booties gloves or mittens, pump, sponge,
participants responsible for their own lodging. Note: airbnb prices are lower at this time of year. Easy to coordinate.
