Let’s do a nice big swing around Casco Bay’s southern islands to get our season off to a good start. LAUNCH at 9:30 for this 10 nm route that includes beautiful rocky outside ledges and a possible stop on Cow Island, a MITA island stewarded by SMSKN volunteers. Bring a lunch and hot drink if you wish. Water temperature is about 50 degrees so dress for immersion; drysuit or neoprene. As always, pdfs and spray skirts required, along with suitable safety gear. Right now the marine forecast is for light winds only but be sure to check before coming. A good day to wake up those paddling muscles!
