Meet at Bethel Point and plan to explore outer Quahog Bay and Ripley Cove with the possibility to circumnavigate Yarmouth Island.
Figure between 2-3 hours for the full experience.
Let’s gather at 4PM on Thursday and plan to have butts-in-boats by 4:30PM.
- Trip Level: Beginner (Level 1) and above
- Bring a sea-worthy kayak with attachable spray deck, kayak must float when swamped.
- Must wear PFD and recommend immersion clothing appropriate for the water temps.
- Bring a snack and hydration
- Be ready to paddle by 4:30, after short shore discussion covering paddle plan and safety considerations.
